Term expires 12-31-22
I
was born in Ada and was raised on our family hobby farm about 4 ½ miles east of
Ada. I was home schooled through 10
th grade where I also attended
ABHS for 2 classes a day. After 10
th grade I decided to attend ABHS as
a full time student where I soon realized how much I thrived being with people.
After graduating in 2007 I attended Bemidji State University for criminal justice,
and after my first semester changed my degree to business with a sales and
marketing emphasis. I decided to come back to Ada 1 ½ before graduating from
college to be a frozen food and dairy manager at Ralph’s Food Pride. In June
2010 only 5 months after coming home to Ada I Married Michelle who had also
lived in Ada most over her life and Graduated from high school with me in 2007.
In August 2012 we had our first child Isaac and only 3 short years later in May
2015 we had our second child Brynlee. In 2014 I decided to try something
different, so I sold cars for Corwin Chrysler Dodge in Fargo ND and very soon
after I realized I was a small town kind of guy and came back to work in sales
and service at Lee Bros Chevy and Buick in Ada. In May of 2016 I decided to give
the Hardware business a try and started Working at McCollums Hardware where I
am currently working primarily in the hunting and fishing department. I have
always had an interest in government and have felt that it is our duty to serve
where ever and however we can and that’s why I joined the Ada Borup Volunteer Fire
Department and the Ada Future Leaders in April 2016. In 2018 I decided to put
my name in to fill a vacancy and finish out a term on the city council. After
being selected to fulfill the remainder of the term I thought about how much I
enjoyed being able to be a part of the decisions that affect the city of Ada to
which I had come to love. It is sometimes difficult to make certain decisions
but my goal is to make the decision that is best for the long term of Ada and
it’s citizens. Thanks for the opportunity to serve Ada and always feel free to
