Welcome to First Baptist Church of Ada, we are so excited to be serving the Lord in this beautiful community!

We are a newly planted SBC (Southern Baptist Convention denomination) church, since 2024 our services are held in a beautifully remodeled garage. Our Worship service starts at 9:30am every Sunday morning. We are currently being led by Brother Josh Visser who is participating in a Pastoral Residency program offered through First Baptist Church of Whitesboro, TX and Pastor Mike Flanagan. We are firmly planted in scripture and feel led to teach on how to obediently live out the Word of God daily in today's world.

We prepare our hearts to hear the message through praising God with a contemporary style paise time and then move into listening and learning to the message. Our Sunday school class's focus on creating close fellowship with each other and gaining a deeper understanding of scripture and a closer relationship with Jesus Christ and applying each lesson to our everyday lives.

Zion is a congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The congregation was founded in 1919, and is worshipping in a beautiful building constructed in 1958 at the address listed above. Zion has been in a “two-point parish” agreement with First English Lutheran Church, of Lockhart, Minnesota since the 1970’s.
