I am a lifelong resident of Ada. I am a retired police officer having served Ada for thirty years. I am married and my wife Julie is an R.N. at Bridges Medical Center. We have four grown children and four grandchildren, all in the area. I now own a small business as a locksmith. This is run from my home. I also do some volunteer work with Meals on Wheels and Norman County Salvation Army. This along with my service to the community as a councilman keeps me busy. Julie and I also enjoy our yard and garden, motorcycling, grandchildren and our two dogs and two horses. We enjoy being a part of the Ada community.

I am born and raised in Ada , MN. I graduated from Ada High School and attended MSU for 6 years with a degree in Teaching: K-12. I have worked part time at the Ada Liquor Store, Cenex, Dekko Center and I am employed at the Ada-Borup School District ( 29 years), part-time at LSS as an In–home Lead, Direct Support Person. I have one grown son and three lovely grandchildren that live in Ada as well. I am currently trying to understand the workings of the city and how it all applies to me and the residence in the city of Ada.

I am a lifelong resident of Ada. I have been employed by a local communications company for the past 33 years. My wife Tammy is employed by the Ada-Borup school system. We have four children and two grandchildren. At the present time, I serve on the Public Works and Planning & Zoning committees. I ran for city council to serve the residents of Ada.

I am originally from Gary, MN. I graduated from Gary High School and the Minnesota School of Business. Married to Curt Robertson in 1970. We have four grown children and six grandchildren.
Together with Curt we owned and operated Ben Franklins’ in Springfield, MN. and Ada, MN. for 22 years. Together we presently own and operate "Candy's Daycare" in Ada. I am one of the Navigators of the "Norman County Youth Pod Squad". I enjoy working with the youth and helping them give back to their communities, living in Ada and raising our family as well as being involved in the City Council and the rest of the community.

I am a current member of the Flood and Fire committees along with the Economic Development Authority. I am a State Farm Insurance agent, having just completed my twentieth year with the company. As for education, I have an MBA, a Master of Management in Health Care Administration, and Bachelor of Science degree. My high school years were spent in Warren, Minnesota. Originally French Canadian, I grew up speaking French at home. Joanne and I moved to Ada with our two children in 1997. I ran for the Council because of my concern over flood protection, and my concerns over business inefficiencies at both the Liquor and Dekko enterprises. My phone number is 218 784 3218.

I have been an Ada resident since August 1978 and have served on the council since May of 2006 for the residents of Ward II. Presently my committee assignments are Ada Public Safey, Fire and Public Works. I manage a full service retail farm supply business location for Triangle Ag, LLC and am a member of Zion Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 26, VFW Post 7557, & the Ada Lions Club. I enjoy gardening, fishing, and spoiling my 2 grandchildren.

I serve on the Job Classification committee and the Economic Development Authority. I am retired after teaching history and foreign languages for thirty-three years in the Ada-Borup High School. I have B.A. and M.A degrees. Shirley Hansen, former Ada-Borup choir director, and I have four adult children. I grew up and received my high school education in Minneapolis. I have made Ada my home town for some four decades and therefore want my town to prosper. My phone number is 784-4262.
